Aladdin The Musical

Aladdin The Musical is on full display in the West End musical that brings the magic of the Disney show to theater. Costumes fill the scenes, with the production including over 350 beautiful costumes that bring the magic of the Disney spectacular to the stage.

The music will be familiar to everyone in the crowd, as the original songs will be included in the theatrical version of Aladdin.
Fans of the show will be brought to life as they hear “Arabian Nights, ” “Friend Like Me” and “A Whole New World” fill the theatre.

An entire new cast will fill the ranks of the production with Matthew Croke playing the role of Aladdin. Croke has been in several productions and brings a wealth of acting experience to the production. He has had parts in West Side Story, Wicked and Grease among numerous other productions.

Trevor Dion Nicholas is described as “genius” in his role as Genie. The West Virginia University trained actor has been on Broadway before for Aladdin and also had roles in The Wizard of Oz, Rent, The Little Mermaid and television shows.

His role as Aladdin is his West End debut, but fans that don’t know Nicholas have a lot to look forward to when he takes the stage. He embodies the character flawlessly with the humor, passion and connection with Aladdin that was evident in the film.

Jade Ewen graces the stage as Jasmine. She attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School and has been in television, film, radio and theatre. She is a solo artist in the studio and has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Bruno Mars, Ne-Yo, Cee-Lo Green and Stargate.

Her theatre performances include roles I n Porgy and Bess and The Lion King. Ewen’s passion for the role and connection with Croke make this a true love story sprinkled with the magic of Nicholas as Genie. Jafar is played by Don Gallagher as he embraces the dark side of the character.

Alan Menken’s music fills the stage as Casey Nicholaw choreographs the show. Gregg Barnes costume design is spot on with the show coming to life through costume and lighting from Natasha Katz. Ken Travis is on sound design as Josh Marquette’s hair design is true to the original movie.

Aladdin is performed daily Monday through Saturday at 7:30 PM. On Thursday and Saturday, the show hits the stage twice at 2:30 PM.
